Welcome to one of Gloucesters most memorable attraction sights, the home of  scientist John Hays Hammond Jr. He built the castle in order to conduct his experiments and house his medieval and renaissance artifacts. Over the years the Castle has been known for more than just his great discoveries. Hammond castle houses a haunted house each year where they distort the image of Hammond Jr. and turn him into a mad man.
